1-product description:-
*stomahesive paste is a convenient ,highly effective filler ,sealant&protective skin barrier
Designed to be used around
*colostomy
*ileostomy
*urinary stomas
*used to protect exposed skin around fistula sites & between the base of astoma &the opening in the skin barrier
*used as a filler for skin folds &scars.
2-Direction for use
a-application to skin barrier
*apply aring of paste on the back of the skin barrier around the hole.
*don't spread the paste .wait one minute before applying the skin barrier .
*for best results, squeeze the tube from bottom &flatten as you go up.
B-application to skin
*apply stomahasive paste to fill depressions &irregular skin contours.
*if required ,use a moistened finger or spatula to spread the paste evenly .
3-general instructions
*apply the skin barrier &press down firmly around the paste of the stoma.
*additional paste may be applied to further protect the skin around the stoma at any time.
*tighten cap securely.
4-removing the stomahasive paste:-
-stomahasive paste is easily removed after it has been in place for 48hr.
-if the paste must be removed sooner ,use warm water .
-it is not necessary to remove all traces of the paste prior to anew application.
5-imp. Notes
-for external use only
-don't apply into an open wound or skin ulcer .
-contains alcohol
-should irritation occur , discontinue use &consult ahealth care profesdional.
6-contraindication:-
Don't use on individuals with aknown sensitivity to the paste
7-disposal
-adhere to local disposal requirements/regulations.
