1-Composition
-each suppository contains:-
*0.15 gm ichthammol
*0.10 gm potassiom iodide
*0.10 gm hamamelis extract
2-Indications:-
*senile hypertrophy of the prostate.
*inflammation of the prostate.
3-properties:-
*active ingredients combined to provide astringent &antiseptic actions.
*ichthamol has an antiseptic action
*hamamelis extract contains tannins &gallic acid so include a potent astringent effect
*these actions assisted by potassiom iodide
4-Dose:-
One suppository twice daily or as prescribed by the phisician
